Play Queens online: unlimited free puzzles

Pick a size and a difficulty and play as many Queens puzzles as you like. Every board is new, has exactly one solution and can be solved without guessing. It's free and there is nothing to sign up for.

How unlimited Queens works

• Sizes from 5×5 to 10×10. A board has as many queens as it has rows. Small boards take a minute; a 10×10 can take ten.
• Four difficulties. Easy boards only need you to find the last open tile in a row, column or colour. Medium, hard and expert boards need the counting techniques. On the largest sizes an easy board is rare, so you may get the next level up.
• Hints that teach. The Hint button shows the next logical step and says why it works.
• Share a board. "Share this board" copies a link that opens exactly the same puzzle, so you can race a friend.

The rules in three lines

1. One queen in every row, every column and every colour.
2. No two queens may touch, not even diagonally.
3. Tap once to rule a tile out, twice to place a queen.
